This Privacy Policy describes how Unmuted Live LLC ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use TextCompressor (the "Service"). We take your privacy seriously and have designed the Service to minimize data collection.
Account information. When you sign up for a paid plan we collect your name, email address, and payment information. Payment data is processed and stored by Stripe — we never store your full card number.
Usage metadata. When you use the hosted API, we log per-request metadata: timestamp, compression level, model name, token count before and after compression, estimated token savings in USD, and request latency. We do not log or store the content of your prompts.
API keys. We store your API key (hashed) alongside your account to authenticate requests.
Local proxy users. If you run the local proxy, no data is sent to us. Compression runs entirely on your machine. The only data that leaves your device is the compressed prompt forwarded to your chosen LLM provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) — the same as if you had sent the prompt directly.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the following service providers, solely to operate the Service:
We may also disclose your information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Unmuted Live LLC, our customers, or the public.
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Usage log records are retained for 12 months, after which they are deleted. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing support@textcompressor.unmutedlive.com.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (TLS), hashed API keys, and access controls on our infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@textcompressor.unmutedlive.com and we will respond within 30 days.
The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the website before material changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
